Wist je dat? Een stijltang gem. zo'n 2 jaar meegaat? Na 2 jaar zijn de keramische platen versleten. Het beschermlaagje gaat er dan vanaf. Je merkt dan dat je stijltang meer "trekt" als je deze door je haar haalt. Ook zul je zien dat je punten veel sneller gaan splijten en/of droog worden.

Het is dus verstandig om je stijltang iedere 2 jaar te vernieuwen om de kwaliteit van je haar te behouden.

PINSPIRATION #4

JA hoor, we zijn er weer! Na een aantal hele drukke maanden kan ik me weer gaan storten op mijn blog. Ik ben inmiddels getrouwd en we hadden het best wel druk met de voorbereidingen. Nu hebben we weer wat meer rust en kan ik weer met andere dingen verder.

Hierboven zie je weer wat "pinspiratie" met afbeeldingen die ik op mijn Pinterest account heb staan. Deze kleurtjes en kapsels hebben we zelf gemaakt en de felle en pastellkleurtjes hebben we bereikt met elumen. 

Dit is een kleurpigment waarmee je allerlei kleuren kunt maken. Het heeft ook een vrij lange houdbaarheid mits je de bijbehorende shampoo en conditioner gebruikt. Wij zijn er superenthousiast over! Voor meer info kun je altijd even contact opnemen.

YES we're back! After a few very busy months I can fully concentrate on blogging again. I've been married recently and it was really busy making all of the arrangements. Now we have more time do spent on other stuff. 

Above you can see some "pinspiration" with pictures that I have on my Pinterest account. These colors and haircuts are made by ourselfs and the bright and pastelcolors are done with elumen.

PINK PEWTER #2

WE hebben de Pink Pewter haarbandjes binnengekregen! Natuurlijk heb ik ze ook zelf meteen in gebruik ;). We hebben verschillende kleuren en modellen voor iedere smaak. Wat bredere bandjes met veel kralen en kleuren voor de echte bohemian girl en smallere bandjes voor de bescheiden fashionista's. De prijzen varieëren van €20,00 tot €38,00

WE finally have the Pink Pewter hairbands! Of course we want to use them ourselfs first ;). We have different colors and styles for every taste. HAIR OF THE WEEK

@ Salon du Trezo willen we graag een nieuwe rubriek introduceren die we weekelijks op de blog en op Facebook willen laten zien. Het heet: het kapsel van de week. We zijn hier heel enthousiast over. Deze keer is het Kimberley. Zij is klant bij onze salon en is altijd in voor een stoer nieuw kapsel. 

Ze had een korte kuif met een bruin/ blonde kleur. Nu is ze platinablond met een lok. Wij vinden de metamorfose zeer geslaagd! Wat vinden jullie?

@ Salon du Trezo we would like to introduce a new weekly post we're going to do on Facebook and on the blog. It's called: Hair of the week. This means that we're going to post a weekly haircut that we are excited about. 

This time it's Kimberley. She is a costumer at our salon and is always daring to try new styles. She had a short look with a sort of mohawk and a brown/blonde color.

We think that this metamorfose is really succesfull! What do you think?

HIERBOVEN zie je weer wat pinspiratie voor aankomende zomer. Leuke zomerse kapsels, accessoires en nagels. COMPACT STYLER

YAY! We hebben weer nieuwe borstels binnen van tangle teezer! Ditmaal is het de compact styler. Deze is iets kleiner dan de vorige tangle teezers die we hadden en heeft een handig dekseltje zodat je de borstel makkelijk in je tas mee kunt nemen. Er zijn verschillende gave kleurtjes, dus voor ieder wat wils.

YAY! We have new brushes from tangle teezer! This time it's the compact styler. This one is a little bit smaller than the previous ones we had and it has a handy cover so you can take it everywhere in your handbag. There are different cool colours, so there's one for everybody's taste.

GL APPS #2

 

 

DIT is het resultaat van de Gl Apps training in Gouda van afgelopen maandag 19-05-2014. We hebben eerst de interessante theorie gehad en daarna mochten we in de praktijk gaan werken. Bij mijn model Denise heb ik 2 kleuren Gl Apps geplaatst om net een wat mooier kleureffect in haar haar te krijgen. Ze heeft heel veel haar van zichzelf dus een echte verlenging of volume behandeling was niet nodig. Je ziet op de eerste foto een Gl App die nog niet helemaal bevestigd is en een Gl App die al tussen de haren bevestigd is. Je ziet dat de Gl App zo goed als onzichtbaar is.

THIS is the result of the training for Gl Apps in Gouda. We had a very interesting theory class and then we could work on the real apps.With my model Denise I placed two different colors of blonde. She has a lot of hair from herself, so it wasn't necessary to make it longer or give it more volume. On the first picture you see a Gl App that's not completely finished and a Gl App that's already been placed between her hair. You can see that that one is almost invisible.

HIER is weer wat pinspiratie van foto's die ik gevonden heb op Pinterest. Ik ben altijd een groot fan van de winged eyeliner. Dit komt dan ook (héél) vaak terug bij de foto's die ik re-pin. Voor een perfecte winged eyeliner heb je natuurlijk wel een goede eyeliner nodig èn een vaste hand. Dit is heel belangrijk om een strakke lijn te kunnen zetten. Er zijn op internet natuurlijk ook heel veel tips en trucs te vinden om dit makkelijker te kunnen doen, maar 1 ding is zeker, oefening baart kunst!

HERE is some pinspiration again from pictures I found on Pinterest. I've always been a big fan of winged eyeliner. This returns a lot in the pictures I re-pin. For a perfect winged eyeliner you need of course a good eyeliner and a steady hand. This is very important to do a tight line. Of course there are enough tips and tricks on the internet to find on how to do an easy winged eyeliner. But 1 thing is for sure, practise is important!

WE LOVE KARAJA

 

ER zijn weer een aantal nieuwe producten van Karaja waar we helemaal enthousiast over zijn. Ze staan hier afgebeeld en 

ik zal even uitleggen wat het allemaal inhoud:

Touché: Dit is een losse poeder-oogschaduw met een superlichte zijdeachtige textuur. Hij is kleurvast, blijft lang zitten en is makkelijk aan te brengen. Wel moet je eerst de perfect touch eronder aanbrengen zodat de oogschaduw blijft zitten. Dit is zogezegd de basis.

Perfect Touch: Dit is een primer for poeder en crème oogschaduw. Het is gemakkelijk in gebruik en is er in 2 kleuren voor verschillende huidtypen. Dankzij dit product blijft je oogschaduw de hele dag op zijn plek!

N-eyes to have: Dit is een paletje met verschillende kleuren oogschaduw zodat je eindeloos kan combineren. 

Lip-Studio: Een zijdezachte formule met een totale dekking in maar 1 beweging. Speciaal ontworpen voor de ideale balans tussen lange houdbaarheid en comfort. Er zijn verschillende tinten verkrijgbaar. Met abrikozenolie en vijgenextract.

PROTECTION

HOE grappig is dit? Het ziet er dan niet uit, maar het is wel handig als je dagelijks je haar krult of stijlt met warmte-apparaten. Het kan namelijk zomaar gebeuren dat je je oor ertussen hebt zitten en dat is erg pijnlijk en geeft lelijke blaren. Dit plaatje heb ik gevonden op Pinterest, maar ik heb geen idee waar je het kunt bestellen en/of dat het in meerdere kleuren verkrijgbaar is.

HOW funny is this? It doesn't look quite charming, but it comes in handy if you curl or straight your hair on a daily base with heatappliances. It could easily happen that your ear comes in between and that is very painful and gives ugly blisters. WE LOVE PASTELS

YES wij houden van pasteltinten. Deze kleuren blijven ook deze zomer een hit. Ze geven vaak een hele zachte gloed aan je huid en worden niet vaal. Ze veranderen wel van kleur in de zon of door het wassen, maar het krijgt dan gewoon een andere kleurschakering. Ik kan je wel adviseren om dit door een professionele kapper te laten doen. Het vergt namelijk de nodige ervaring om een kleur zo mooi pastel te krijgen. YES we love pastels. These colors are also still a hit this summer. They often give a soft radiance to your skin and don't become ugly. They change of course in the sun and when you've washed your hair a couple of times, but you get more tints of color. I will advice you to go to a professional hairstylist. It takes some experience to get your color this beautiful pastel.

IT'S ALIVE #2

AFGELOPEN zondag, 27-4-2014 was Horst centrum leeft. Zoals ik laatst in een blogpost al uitgelegd had, hadden we deze dag een levende etalage bij Vrouw Women's Wear. De modellen hebben we het haar en make-up gedaan en Vrouw heeft de kleding verzorgd. Zoals jullie zien zagen de meiden er prachtig uit en konden ze goed vertoeven in de "vintage"etalage. Het idee erachter was dat ze eigenlijk een  feestje hadden gehad en dat dit dan de "day after" was. Wat natuurlijk kan kloppen de dag na Koningsdag. In het centrum waren nog bij verschillende winkels hele leuke levende etalages te bezichtigen en werden er allerlei activiteiten gehouden en speelden er bandjes. Gelukkig viel het weer later op de middag nog mee, de zon kwam erdoor en er was ook voldoende winkelend publiek.

PAST sunday, 27-4-2014 there was something organised in our village, called Horst centrum leeft. The meaning of this day was that people could go shopping and saw all kinds of living windows. We had a living window at Vrouw Women's Wear. The models had their hair and make-up done by us and Vrouw picked out the outfits they were wearing. As you can see the girls looked beautiful and could easily spend their afternoon sitting in the "vintage"window. The idea behind it was, that they had a party the night before and that this was the "day after". Which of course could be right, the day after Kingsday. In the rest of the street there were also more living windows to see and and there were all sorts of activities and musicbands playing. Thankfully the weather wasn't so bad later that afternoon. The sun came through and there was also enough shopping public.
